Storm Recovery & Relief

The Jewish Assistance Network is coordinating various relief efforts of Jewish communal organizations including the Jewish Federation, Hebrew Free Loan, and Jewish Family Service, in order to help families affected by the recent storms and flooding. Financial assistance, including grants and loans, is available for those with urgent needs.

The Jewish Assistance Network can be reached at (248) 592 – 2650 on weekdays from 8am to 8pm, and on Sunday from 9am to 5pm.

Shaimos

Another truck has been arranged to transport flood-damaged seforim and shaimos this coming Sunday, August 24, from the Oak Park / Southfield area. There is no charge for this service.

Items can be dropped off from 9:00am to 3:00pm this coming Sunday, August 24, at the Kollel parking lot, 15230 Lincoln Road.

Shaimos items can also be taken directly to Hebrew Memorial Park at 21503 E. 14 Mile Road, which is east of Gratiot Avenue in Clinton Township. Enter the cemetery from 14 Mile Road, using the second entrance gate. Drive past the office; dropoff pallets are located at the back of the garage.
