AMC GRAPEFRUIT in an 8 lb. bag is being sold locally at Costco, and is a product of Israel, as stated on the closure tag and on the case. The case also says “Jaffa / Mehadrin”. This is Shemitah product, and has Kedushas Shviis which entails special restrictions. Consult your Rav for guidance.

NATURAL FOODS brand ORGANIC CONCORD GRAPE JUICE bears an unauthorized KSA symbol. This product is not Kosher certified.

OU PESACH GUIDE CLARIFICATION: In the “Selling Chometz” chart on page 17, a “No” listing under “Chometz Status” does not mean that the product does not contain any chometz or that it does not need to be sold. It means only that the product is not “chometz gamur” (obvious chometz), and may be sold even by those accustomed not to sell chometz gamur, as explained in the preceding article on page 15.

NON-PESACH VERSIONS OF THE FOLLOWING PRODUCTS have been found mistakenly placed in the Pesach section at One Stop Kosher Food Market. Check every label of your purchases:

LIEBER’S WHOLE PURPLE PLUMS in heavy syrup, in 30 oz. cans, is not Kosher for Pesach. The Pesach marking on the label is incorrect and is crossed out, though on some labels the Pesach wording is still legible. This product was mistakenly sold in the Pesach section at One Stop.

The pareve type, which states Pareve and bears OU-P, is OU certified for Pesach and does not contain kitniyos. The dairy type, which states Dairy and contains kitniyos, bears OU-D and states that the OU supervision is for year round and not for Passover, and is not Cholov Yisroel. Check each label carefully.

KIRKLAND SIGNATURE frozen ATLANTIC SALMON with 4% salt & water solution, product of Norway, mistakenly does not bear the OU symbol on some packages, but is nevertheless OU certified and approved for Pesach.

CHOCOLATE EMPORIUM (of Cleveland) PASSOVER CHOCOLATE COVERED CRANBERRIES with Star-K P, purchased from March 28, 2016 to 2 PM on April 7, 2016, should not be eaten on Pesach due to a possible kitniyos issue. Bosch Cooking Products UPDATE
March 16, 2016
Please note the following about the Bosch HGI8054UC and HGIP054UC models of slide-in gas ranges: The oven’s heating source shuts off immediately when the door is opened and re-ignites when it is closed, even when the oven is in Sabbath Mode. Consumers are advised not to open or close the oven door on Shabbos or YomTov while the oven is on. If you own one of these models, please contact george.may@bshg.com or tyler.corby@bshg.com. Please provide your name, phone number, and email address, so that the company can coordinate service. The manufacturer is working on a fix to be provided, hopefully, before Passover. Updates will be posted on our website.
